Full-Length Album 'Open Your Eyes' For Rapture Ruckus

Aug 15 2011

New Zealand's Rapture Ruckus will release their new full-length album 'Open Your Eyes' on 27th September 2011. The ten track album, which features legendary Delirious guitarist Stu G on several tracks, includes the new single 'This Little Light', plus recent radio hit 'All Things New' and title track 'Open Your Eyes'.

The electro/hip-hop/pop outfit received a Dove nomination for their self-titled EP last year. Whilst the band have released several albums in their home country, 'Open Your Eyes' will be their debut full-length album in the US.

"We've been going for a long time and built up our audience back home. Now that we're spending so much more time in America, it's like starting from scratch meeting new people," shares band member Brad Dring. "We've got a very simple strategy and that's to build it up organically the same way we did back home. We did 100 shows in America last year, are up to 130 this year and are always committed to taking a massive show with us wherever we go. Our goal in Rapture Ruckus is to lift people up from their burdens and leave our show feeling like a million bucks. We want people to hear our music and go away feeling better than when they came in."

Rapture Ruckus are currently in the middle of a UK tour, having performed at Creation Fest, Rocknations and Soul Survivor. They will also play at the Netherland's Flevo Festival on 18th August and Fuel Festival in Northern Ireland on 20th. Later this year Rapture Ruckus will be touring in the US with Group 1 Crew.
