Run Kid Run & Trip To Dover To Perform At UK Event The Waiting
Energetic US pop/rock band Run Kid Run, from Tooth and Nail records, will be performing in the UK this week at a music event named The Waiting. Held at Maswell Park Church in Hounslow, West London on 28th April 2011, the event also features popular British band Trip To Dover.
Hailing from the state of Illinois, Run Kid Run is a 4 piece pop rock band with huge hooks, infectious melodies, and uplifting lyrics. After winning over thousands of people nationwide with their debut release 'This Is Who We Are', Run Kid Run released, 'Love At The Core' produced by James Paul Wisner (Dashboard Confessional, Further Seems Forever, New Found Glory).
Trip To Dover's sound can best be described as evolved synthpop, while the groove and guitars remain loyal to alternative rock. A powerful female vocal reinforces the raw yet melodic, the danceable yet powerful tunes. Only started out two years ago, they have played more than 150 shows all over the UK, Europe and even a US tour with 25 shows in 35 days.
