Tim Hughes' New Album 'Love Shine Through' Gets US Release
Following it's UK release last month, the new studio album from British worship leader Tim Hughes, 'Love Shine Through' , has now been released in the US. The album is available on CD as well as from the US iTunes and UK iTunes stores where a special 'Deluxe Edition' is also available.
The twelve-track album, Tim's fourth full-length studio album and his first for four years, was produced by Martin Smith (Delirious? lead singer) and features collaborations with writers like Ben Cantelon, Nick Herbert, Nikki Fletcher, Keys Kraayenoord, Stu G and Martin Smith. Musicians included members of Rend Collective Experiment, Kim Walker-Smith (Jesus Culture), Marc James (Vineyard, Verra Cruz), Michael Guy Chislet (Hillsong United). Jerry Brown (Girls Aloud), David Grant and Fay Simpson on backing vocals, the Jesus House Gospel Choir and the keyboard genius of Josiah Sherman (The Listening).
"Love Shine Through is a collection of worship songs that I hope will encourage people in their expression of worship", said Tim Hughes in an exclusive interview with LTTM. "Whenever I record an album, the desire is that the songs can resource the local church and be used in corporate worship. For Love Shine Through, there’s a real sense of looking at the theme of faith. A faith in God, faith in what is to come and the importance of God’s people standing up, stepping out and choosing to place their trust in Jesus Christ alone. However, I’ve really tried hard to find ways of expressing this faith and this belief in the context of the reality of a broken world in which we live."
Writer of 'Here I Am To Worship', 'Beautiful One', 'Happy Day', 'Jesus Saves' and many more modern worship anthems sung by tens of millions every week in worship services around the world, Tim Hughes received two GMA Song of The Year Dove Awards for 'Here I Am To Worship'. The song has also been recorded by artists such as Michael W. Smith, Chris Tomlin, Rebecca St. James, Jeremy Camp and Passion.
