Nominations For UK Christian Resources Awards 2011 Announced
The short lists for the UK's Christian Resources Awards 2011 have been released. In the music categories, the Contemporary Album of the Year nominees are Delirious? 'Farewell Show', Soul Survivor 'Light Up The Sky', and Jonathon Veira 'You Raise Me Up'. The Praise & Worship Album of the Year nominees are Hillsong 'Faith+Hope+Love', Graham Kendrick 'The Best Of Graham Kendrick', and Matt Redman 'Matt Redman Ultimate Collection'.
The awards also include categories for books and media, and the winners will be announced at the awards ceremony during the Christian Resources Together retreat at High Leigh on 13th June. During the awards ceremony there will be guest performances from the Saltmine Theatre Company and singer Jocelyn Brown, with worship led by Ben Cantelon.
Last year's winners of the Contemporary Album of the Year were Delirious? for their 'History Makers: Greatest Hits' album, with the Praise & Worship Album of the Year award going to 'The New Best Praise and Worship Songs Ever' compilation album.
