Graham Kendrick To Release New Album 'Banquet'
One of the UK's most prolific writers of modern worship music, Graham Kendrick, returns with a brand new album titled 'Banquet', released on 18th April 2011. The twelve song album, recorded in Nashville and Atlanta with Nathan Nockels and Dan Wheeler, see's Graham return to a more acoustic style of worship.
"The latest album from one of the founding fathers of modern worship music, 'Banquet' sees Graham Kendrick return to his acoustic roots", says Kingsway. "Before all the anthems that inspired millions to march in the name of Jesus, and before the songs that united the content of the great hymn writers with the accessibility of contemporary sounds, Graham was a folk and acoustic artist. Songs were his medium, and the stories they told were the heart of the action. Returning to the craft, 'Banquet' sees Graham reflect on the idea of the church gathering together in unity and celebration."
Best known as the writer of modern hymns like 'Shine Jesus Shine' and 'The Servant King', Graham Kendrick has been releasing albums for 40 years. In 2010 Graham released his best of album 'Knowing You Jesus'.
