Dec 07 2010

The Passion 2011 conference, expected to be attended by more than 20,000 university-aged students, takes place in Atlanta, Georgia from 1st to 4th January 2011. Once again the Passion movement will be recording their next live album at the conference, which will be released on 8th March 2011.

As the follow up to the highly successful 2010 live album 'Passion Awakening', which recently received a Grammy nomination for Best Gospel Song for the track 'Our God', the much-anticipated 2011 live album will feature a collection of new songs from Chris Tomlin, David Crowder*Band, Charlie Hall, Matt Redman, Christy Nockels and Kristian Stanfill.

The album and new song offerings will reflect the desire of a generation to lay down their lives to live for the renown of Christ. Since the first release in 1998, Passion albums have sold more than 1.8 million albums and introduced the newest and up-and-coming worship songs, including 'Better Is One Day', 'How Great Is Our God', 'God Of This City', 'Holy Is The Lord' and the number 1 radio single 'Our God'.
