Jake Germany Gives Away Free Single From Forthcoming 'Leftover' EP
The fourth release from singer/songwriter Jake Germany 'Leftover' will be available on 11th January 2011. The Texas based singer has been seen on the road with the likes of The Secret Handshake, Deas Vail, Poema and more playing bass, and releases his new five song EP featuring infectious melodies and raw storylines drawing comparisons to Kevin Devine and Dustin Kensrue.
The first single from the EP, 'The Rest is History', is a soothing dream of a tune perfectly infused with a slight and comforting swagger. Working with former Confide drummer Joel Piper, Germany has crafted a beautiful glimpse into what listeners will be sure to find as a genuine and teasing preview to what Germany will offer in the future.
'The Rest is History' single can be downloaded completely free from Jake's Facebook page. The single's video, filmed in a parking garage in Austin, Texas, in a single take with a single microphone set up inside an elevator, can also be viewed on Jake's Facebook.
