Abandon Kansas To Release New Single With New Album Coming In 2011

Indie pop/rock band Abandon Kansas have finished recording their new full-length album 'Ad Astra Per Aspera', latin for 'to the stars through difficulties', which is due for release in early 2011 with Gotee Records. The album was produced by Mark Lee Townsend (Deas Vail, House of Heroes).

The band are preparing to release the first digital single and video from the album. 'The Golden State' single will be available from 2nd November 2010 and will also include the music video and the never released acoustic version of 'Close Your Eyes'.

'Close Your Eyes' was originally available on the band's 2009 studio EP 'We're All Going Somewhere'. With an extensive touring schedule and DIY work ethic, the band has already garnered a legion of loyal fans and has been named one of Alternative Press' 100 Bands You Need To Know In 2010.
