Trip Lee - Between Two Worlds
Last modified: 27 Jul 2010

Trip Lee - Between Two Worlds Between Two Worlds is the third studio album from the amazing Trip Lee. For those who don't know who Trip Lee is, here is a little history lesson. Trip Lee had always been into rap music during his whole life, he would pen his own songs about how hot he was and how many girls he could pull, but it wasn’t until he was 14 when he gave his life to Christ that everything in his life changed. What he wrote about and rapped about all changed and from that day Trip Lee wanted to share God through his lyrics.

Trip Lee singed to Reach Records for his debut album If They Only Knew which featured Jesus Muzik. In 2008 Trip Lee released his second album 20/20 which broke into the Billboard Top 200 and number 11 on the Christian Billboard Chart.

Between Two Worlds is an amazing album, showing that Christian Music can be as good as anything the mainstream can produce and anything that is being released into the charts. This album is top quality and well worth a listen, especially if you enjoy Rap music.

The album is 16 tracks long, which gives you over an hour of music. Personally I think the album is a little on the long side, but you can't complain about someone giving you that many songs. There are some gems on this album, including the ones I have put as my standout tracks; Twisted, Bear With You and The Invasion. There is also the bonus track My Lord, plus great songs Invade and Covenant.

The album features many guest artists, who add their style to this album, including tracks featuring Pro, the amazing Sho Baraka and the soulful Jimmy Needham who adds his smooth and classy style on the track Yours To Own.

Trip Lee on this album tackles tough issues head on with honesty. With a mix of sounds the album is packed full of club beats that you wouldn't be ashamed to play to your friends. Another great album to showcase that Christian Music can compete at the same quality as some mainstream albums.
