KXC Worship Release 'Show Us Your Glory' Live Album
KXC Worship have released their new live album 'Show Us Your Glory', available now on all streaming platforms.
"For the last few years KXC have been gathering on Monday nights to spend extended time in prayer and worship. ‘Seek First’ is a space where we pour out our worship to God and respond by praying for what we sense is on his heart. As we’ve gathered regularly, the worshipping life of our church has exploded with passion, hunger and a deeper longing to see God’s Kingdom here on Earth.
We recorded this ‘Seek First Sessions’ live album on two separate Monday nights over the last 18 months. We deliberately tried to capture something raw and true to what we do every week. The album features 14 tracks including songs such as ‘O God Would You Move’, ‘Hope on the Horizon’ and Moth to a Flame’ as well as lots of powerful spontaneous moments."
“One of the deepest prayers of my heart for the last months has been - “Lord, we thank you for your presence, show us your glory” - this album carries that same cry. There are so many moments in worship where we taste a glimpse of heaven touching Earth in joyful, intimate and passionate encounters. Our prayer is that you would be caught up in wonder and praise to the Lord as you listen and pour your heart to Him”, explains Rich di Castiglione, Worship Pastor at KXC.
The album features ’O God Would You Move’ - “this is a song that perhaps more than any other, reflects the heart cry of our church family at KXC in this season. With so much chaos and instability present nationally, culturally and globally, this song is an invitation to get on our knees and contend for a fresh move of the Spirit”, adds Pete Hughes, Lead Pastor at KXC.
‘Fully Yours’ is the focus track for the album release. The explosive joy on this track sums up the absolutely electric atmosphere that was present at our live recording night when the whole album was recorded. The album captures something of the life that is erupting here at KXC - every week young people are gathering to worship and pray. The musicians were improvising a song they hadn’t heard before - it’s a really simple track that builds in intensity and the crowd roaring their praise with raw passion.
KXC Worship is based at King’s Cross Church (KXC), a thriving church in the heart of London. The vision of KXC is to serve God’s purpose to make all things new, by recklessly giving ourselves away to God in worship, each other in community and the people of King’s Cross and beyond.
