Nov 27 2023

Dielun, a singer from the Caribbean island of Trinidad, has released a 5 track Christmas EP titled, 'Songs for my Daughter at Christmas'.

The EP features the songs, 'Oh Come Oh Come Emmanuel', 'River', 'The First Noel', 'Oh Holy Night' and 'What Child is This?'

Dielun's professional singing career began at age 14 as a background vocalist for brother/sister christian duo Ceejay and Luckey. In 2010 he released his first single, The First Noel under his name, Dylan, but soon changed to Dielun due to mispronunciations of the name to the popular Dillan.

In 2011 he released his second single, the inspirational ballad, Stand (I will be There) produced by Denice Wint his vocal teacher at the time. Dielun released his contemporary christian music (CCM) EP in 2011 and toured the UK shortly after. After an 11 year hiatus from the music industry Dielun released his cover of the mega christian music hit, Mercy Said No in September 2023. He followed this up with his Christmas single, Oh Come Oh Come Emmanuel exploring more ambient and synth sounds.

The EP which follows is titled, Songs for my Daughter at Christmas, and was released on 17 Nov exploring more of this ambient sound with soaring vocals, incredibly intricate vocal harmonies on the backdrop of Christmas favourites. He describes himself as, "an expression of creativity to inspire and be inspired. On a spiritual journey to Christ consciousness."
