The UK's inaugural Christian Resources Awards were made at a special Awards Dinner held during the National Christian Resources Exhibition (CRE) on 11th May 2010 at Sandown Park, Esher. In addition to awards for books and other resources, there were three music categories.

The Contemporary Album of the Year award went to Delirious? for their 'History Makers: Greatest Hits' album. The British band brought their 17 year career to an end in November 2009, releasing their Greatest Hits album the same month.

Praise & Worship Album of the Year went to 'The New Best Praise and Worship Songs Ever'. The 3-CD compilation album was released in September 2009 and featured 50 of the most popular new worship songs from artists such as Bluetree, David Crowder Band and Casting Crowns.

The Gospel Album of the Year was awarded to 'WOW Gospel 2009' which was released in February 2009, featuring music from Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Yolanda Adams and many others on a 2-CD set.
