Sixpence None The Richer To Release New Album 'Strange Conversation' In August

May 07 2010

Sixpence None The Richer will release their highly anticipated new studio album 'Strange Conversation' on 24th August 2010. The band recently signed with Credential Recordings in the US and have been in the studio in California since January working on the album with recording legend Jim Scott (Crowded House).

The Nashville based band, made up of Leigh Nash (lead vocals), Matt Slocum (guitars) and Justin Cary (bass), have not released an album since 2008's Christmas album 'The Dawn of Grace'. Their previous album was 'Divine Discontent' in 2002, before they went their separate ways in 2004, only to be reunited in 2008.

The band got together in the early 1990s and are best known for their mainstream success with the song 'Kiss Me', and their covers of 'Don't Dream It's Over' and 'There She Goes'. In 2009 they played a headline slot at the Greenbelt Festival in the UK.
