Louder Than The Music

Worship group the Desperation Band are joining up with worship leader and recent Dove Award winner Kari Jobe for the the 'Heartwork Tour' during May 2010. The tour kicks off in Fort Smith, Arkansas on 12th May and continues through until 20th May in Loveland, Colorado.

The Desperation Band was birthed out of the student ministries of New Life Church in Colorado Springs. They continue to lead worship both within the student ministries and in the main services at New Life Church, as well as at the annual Desperation Conferences. They released their latest album 'Light Up The World' in September 2009.

Kari Jobe released her self-titled debut in February 2009. Produced by Ed Cash, the album contains songs written by Kari as well as co-writes with worship leaders/songwriters Chris Tomlin, Paul Baloche, Mia Fieldes, Ed Cash and Klaus Kuehn. Earlier this month Kari won two Dove Awards, Special Events Album for 'Glory Revealed 2' and Spanish Language Album of the Year for the Spanish version of her self-titled album.
