Union State Plan Launch Night For 'The Way You Love'

Scottish worship band Union State have announced a launch night for their debut CD 'The Way You Love' on 1st May at the King's Centre in Motherwell. The band will be joined by special guests Uplight for the event which starts at 7.30pm.

Tickets will be £3 and all proceeds from ticket sales will be sent to St Andrew's Hospice in Airdrie. "This is in honour of our friend and sound engineer Jim Davidson who was called home on Friday 26th February and who had received tremendous care from the staff in the hospice before his death", explain the band.

On Saturday 15th May Union State will be performing at the 'Ipraise' event in Wishaw, Lanarkshire, and on 13th June they will be at the 'Free in the Park' event in Strathaven, supporting TheBandWithNoName.

Union State have been together since October 2009 and their first CD brings a contemporary guitar driven praise and worship sound similar to David Crowder, Chris Tomlin and Delirious. The band consists of Scott on guitar and vocals, Ails (vocals), Rico (drums), Kevin (guitar), Grant (bass) and Paul (vocals and guitar).
