Mr. I B-Lieve, Knick Knack & MsChozen Releasing 'When Men Cry'
The artists Mr. I B-Lieve, Knick Knack and MsChozen join forces on the new track 'When Men Cry', released July 15.
"This song developed from conversations Mr. I B-Lieve and I have been having over a couple years", explains Knick Knack. "The reality that men crying is a powerful thing, and necessary for healing became a focus. Jesus being our example, and weeping gives us a clear picture that God Himself cried as a man. Since He did, we should. The adversary has hindered our growth and healing before it started with the saying "Men Don't Cry" or "Boys Don't Cry" and us seeing it as weakness. We pray this song helps men and women come to see the power and healing, along with the healthiness of crying. MsChozen is Mr I B-Lieve's wife, and she really helped complete the song."
Mr. I B-Lieve's real name is Terrence Baker, also known as Pastor Terrence. "Born as a city child of Chicago into music and poetry because of my father who was a musician to the big city", Terrence explains. "I was raised by both parents with no religious background but Jesus wasn’t a stranger in our household! Later in life I got closer to God from my first baptism at 21 at Living Word Christian Center. I served for the church for a year then moved towards a new path away from the church in Chicago to Southern Illinois where I have met my wife. I journeyed from ministry there to Texas on God’s timing! I was called to be a pastor as well as rapping as it being my worship unto God! As a vessel using the gifts God placed in me to save souls!"
