Darlene Zschech Releases Acoustic Album 'Simply Darlene'
Australian worship leader Darlene Zschech has released a new album titled 'Simply Darlene' containing acoustic versions of some of her older songs. Known worldwide as a songwriter and worship pastor at Hillsong Church in Sydney, Australia, Darlene's best known song is 'Shout to the Lord'.
Explaining the album Darlene said, "A few months ago the guys from INO records, who I've worked with for years now, asked me to put down a bunch of my older songs with just piano and/or guitar, to be called Simply Darlene. So I took Craig Gower and David Holmes up to the Grove studios for a few days and it is now done. So I pray that it will be a great blessing."
Darlene went on to reveal that she is also working on several new albums. "We are also working hard on writing and releasing a fresh worship project, and Christmas project". 'Simply Darlene' can be purchased as a digital download or physical CD from Darlene's website.
