Christian Swiss Singer/Songwriter Claudia Balla Releases Brand New Visual For 'in my head' From Album 'ALICE'

Jun 26 2022

Switzerland based singer-songwriter Claudia Balla's latest single 'in my head' is an upbeat track about a breakup but at the same time, it reflects on the fact that we decide over what thoughts - and demons - we let into our heads and lives. The video for the song references the iconic tea party scene from Alice in Wonderland.

Claudia entered onto the scene in 2013 with her debut album “Enough”. The record combined soft, stripped-down melodies with powerful piano ballads which made her a force to be reckoned with in the European music scene and paved the way for bigger things to come.

In 2016, Claudia released her sophomore album, “Fire”, featuring her statement single “Perfect”. The thought-provoking song powerfully deals with the current social status of women and the challenges still imposed on women around the world. The contemporary pop production, dark harmonic elements and honest lyrics resonated within the hearts of listeners across the world.

Her song, “Miracle” (featuring Mané), tackles the delicate and pressing issue of climate change. The track is accompanied by a captivating music video which vividly highlights the devastating effects of climate change with images of human consumption on the planet.

She also recorded a bilingual, winter-themed duet with the renowned Swiss singer, Sonia Grimm (“Likely/Si vous saviez”).

With her new album “ALICE”, Claudia invites us into her own version of Wonderland; a somber and sometimes lonely dystopia, but portrayed in a delicate, hopeful, and relatable manner. Gravitating back sonically to her previous work, Claudia also stretches her songwriting further, both melodically and lyrically.
