Garreth Trent Releasing New Single 'Do You Still Love Me'
Singer/Songwriter Garreth Trent will be releasing his new single, 'Do You Still Love Me' on Friday, 1 July 2022.
"We've all experienced times in our walk with God where we've felt like we've let Him down or disappointed Him. This song is an expression of that feeling of disappointment and regret, but there's a reminder that nothing can separate us from His love and no matter how we may feel, the truth remains that He loves us", explains Garreth.
I wrote this song after a service where I was under prepared and couldn't serve God or His people in the way He deserves. I felt like I'd let Him down and feelings of doubt entered my mind about my worth and value to Him. But as I wrote the lyrics down, He reminded me of Paul's words in Romans 8, that nothing could ever separate us from His love, no matter what.
So this song is for anyone who's feeling like the things they've done have disappointed God and if they're wondering if He still wants and loves them. It's a reminder that 'neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.' (Romans 8:38-39)."
