Levi Ware Joined By The Blind Boys of Alabama For 'Rise Up'

Feb 01 2022

Dual USA/Canadian citizen and Artist Levi Ware has established himself as an accomplished songwriter, collaborator and musician. No Easy Way, his third studio release, features the single Rise Up. This song was inspired by his work with his music centric non-profit (Melodic Caring Project) founded by Levi and Stephanie (wife) in 2010. Melodic Caring streams live concerts, with personal shoutouts from artists, directly to critically ill kids and teens in hospital and home-care rooms around the world. This personal recognition provides hope and connection to kids who feel forgotten, helping them through their most difficult days.

The spirit of Rising Up is embodied in this song through its message and the combined voices of Levi, the Blind Boys of Alabama and The Anointed Worshippers coming together from across the country to sing a song of resilience and hope. Produced by Ryan Hadlock (Lumineers, Brandi Carlile, Vance Joy).

Levi continues to be inspired by the strength, courage and grace displayed by the kids and families they serve. Rise Up was written in 2019 after years of watching kids get knocked down time-after-time with health crises just to rise up time and time again. Their example of grace during crisis is a standard we can all learn from. To hold true to our beliefs. To take strength from our faith and Rise Up to make each day better, for ourselves and others, is a hallmark of these kids' lives and an example we should all strive to demonstrate in our own.
