Matthew Hawk Releases 'Merry Christmas' EP

Matthew Hawk, a singer-songwriter with decades of songwriting and performance experience, has just released a Christmas album. The four song EP titled, 'Merry Christmas', is available in every major online outlet and streaming service, and features his singles 'The Greatest Gift' and 'Merry Little Christmas', plus 'The Christmas Song (Chestnuts)' and 'Silent Night'.


Matthew is also working on a new album, currently untitled, that will be released in Fall of 2022, with several singles released in the Spring.

Matthew's songs have aired on radio, in television shows, and in feature films. He has shared the stage with Christian bands such as the Newsboys, Audio Adrenaline, Jennifer Knapp, Kristan Stanfill, and many others. He has appeared playing guitar and/or singing on films such as Pitch Perfect 3, The Change Up, What to Expect When You're Expecting, Boy Erased, Come Sunday, A Question of Faith, and the television shows, The Vampire Diaries, The Baker and the Beauty, and American Soul, with live performances on a variety of television programs such as AtlantaLive.

Recently, his music video, Coming Home, won an award at the Emerald Coast Film Festival. He was nominated for a Native American Music Award in 2018, and had a song selected on a benefit CD featuring Peter Frampton, the Spin Doctors, and 7Mary3.

Matthew released his album Overcome in Spring of 2019. The album mixes spiritual overtones with Southern Melodic Rock, Native American, Americana, and Country-Fried, Faith-Based sounds reminiscent of David Crowder, Johnny Cash, Keith Urban, Zach Williams, and Matchbox Twenty. With an organic blend of guitars, keys, percussion, mandolin, harmonica, and Native American flute, Hawk delivers original, melodic, spiritual truths to encourage and inspire others. Hawk plays all the instruments on the album and produced the tracks himself.
