Me In Motion To Release Self Titled Debut Album & Tour With Sanctus Real

Mar 01 2010

Three-piece rock band Me In Motion will release their self titled debut album on 23rd March 2010. The band recently released the first single from the new album, 'Losers', which is currently number 18 and climbing on the CHR chart in the USA. Me In Motion will join Sanctus Real on a major tour starting this week and continuing through until May. The tour also features Above the Golden State and Addison Road, and follows Me In Motion's successful stints on tour with Newsboys in 2009 and the RED/Pillar tour earlier this year.

"Next week marks the beginning of an exciting new tour as we'll be hitting the road with one of our longtime favorite Christian bands, Sanctus Real," said Me In Motion's lead singer Seth Mosley. "We love their message, their music, their hearts and are extremely excited to share the stage with them. We'll be playing a new song, 'Seek Justice, Love Mercy,' from our upcoming self-titled CD and it's our first time to play the tune live. We are extremely excited to share it with the fans and we believe that now is a critical time for this message to be heard loud and clear. We feel quite certain that no audience will leave unchanged, but called to live out their faith in a radical new way. Me in Motion is thrilled to be a part of this with Sanctus Real, Above The Golden State and Addison Road."

Me In Motion are comprised of Seth Mosley, Tim Wilson (bass/background vocals) and Brian Dexter (drums/background vocals). Discussing the album in an interview with LouderThanTheMusic.com, Seth said, "I find common themes in every song of our purpose as a band, to try and encourage people to live out their faith through a life of real love for others. Such as, our debut single 'Losers' that refers to the lonely kid at the lunch table, referring to the section in Matthew 25 where Jesus speaks about reaching out to the "Least of These". And in 'Leaving Here Someday', it is a super high-energy party rock song that talks about the things that really matter in life. The inspiration for this message has come from a few solid years of doing nothing but riding around the country touring in a van, living this crazy lifestyle. We've met so many different people, and heard so many different stories from kids that will come up to us after shows, and send us emails continually, expressing different things they are dealing with and want to change. It has really put in perspective for us as a band on what is really important to us, and how we realize that people need to find identity in living a sold-out life for Christ, where nothing else matters."
