Starfield To Release New Album 'The Saving One'

Jan 26 2010

Canadian Christian band Starfield will released their latest album 'The Saving One' on 23rd February 2010 as the follow up to their 2008 release, 'I Will Go'. The new album is said to showcase "the signature harmonies of brothers Tim and Jon Neufeld on 10 soaring worship anthems", according to Sparrow Records.

"Even before The Saving One's release, we're seeing indications that this new record has some of the best worship songs they've written yet", says Vice President of A&R for EMI CMG Brad O'Donnell.

The album includes the first single 'Rediscover You' plus co-writes with Ed Cash (Chris Tomlin, Third Day), Ben Glover and Hillsong's Mia Fieldes, as well as songwriter/producer Ian Eskelin (All Star United). Starfield and Eskelin recorded the album in nine straight days. The result is a Starfield album designed to reach the listener in a personal setting and within a church community.

Starfield will also be hitting the road and performing at various 'Dare 2 Share' conferences around the US during February and March.
