Oftentimes, non-believers have this idea that they're supposed to have things figured out and perfected before going to church or praying to God. They think that they have to fix the broken parts of themselves first - not fully understanding that their brokenness is one of the very things Jesus wants to help them with. "You" speaks to this common struggle.

"The message of “You” is: Jesus loves you just as you are and wants to have a relationship with you. No perfection required.

Believers can fall into a similar trap - avoiding prayer or worship because of feeling the need to “fix” or to "deal" with the baggage in their lives first. When all the while, Jesus simply invites His people to come to Him - baggage and all.

In thinking about the miraculous stories of healing in the Bible, we can see that those people didn't try to heal their diseases before coming to him. They came with their brokenness and Jesus changed everything.

With the state of our world today, we think people need to hear this message now more than ever. Jesus doesn't want “perfection” - as we draw closer to Him in our brokenness, He will begin to refine what’s broken. We don't need to "fix" anything before going to Him. All He just wants YOU."
