Newsboys To Release New Album 'Born Again' In June
The Newsboys will release their latest album 'Born Again' on 8th June. Fans attending the WinterJam Tour will be given a 5-song 'Special Preview EP' if they order the album. They will also have a chance to get the album signed by the band and be the first to receive the new record when it is released in the summer. The Preview EP is also currently being streamed on the band's official Facebook page.
'Born Again' will be the first Newsboys album featuring new lead singer Michael Tait (formerly of DC Talk), who took over from Peter Furler in 2009. The video for the album's title track was shot just outside Tijuana, Mexico in the Baja penninsula, where the Newsboys plan to embark on one of the biggest home building projects ever to support the poverty stricken people of the Baja.
The WinterJam Tour kicked off on 8th January and continues through until the end of March. In addition to Newsboys, the tour also features Third Day, NewSong, Tenth Avenue North, Fireflight and Sidewalk Prophets.
