Pursuing JC, a 10-piece worship band from Long Island NY, today released the acoustic version of its rising single “Stomping On The Devil.”
The song was inspired while Pursuing JC was on tour with the band, Unspoken. A woman with cancer reacted to one of Pursuing JC’s live performances by saying the band’s music gave her the strength to “stomp on the Devil.” Immediately the group was inspired and they got right to work, with the first demo of the song being written by Devin Simpson, one of the vocalists from the group.

“‘Stomping On The Devil’ was the perfect title for a song that inspires listeners to fight the whispers of doubt that prevent us from having a deeper relationship with Christ,” DeRosa said.
The production team at the band’s label Shelter Rock and other band members agreed and “Stomping On The Devil” came to life in both pop and acoustic versions.
