Tinkez grew up in Kumasi and attended Opoku Ware School. He begun his music career after moving to the UK and becoming a Christian. In 2017, Tinkez was nominated for an award at the Ghana Music Awards UK ceremony and has since kept labouring on his craft and ministry.
