The single is the title track for Love Displayed’s new album, Walk On Water, that was produced by Ian Eskelin (Francesca Battistelli, Sidewalk Prophets), and will release spring 2017. The project will deliver a new CCM Pop sound for the duo, who co-wrote all 10 songs for the record. The single is being promoted at radio through Jen Mouttet Promotions.
“If you spend five minutes with Zak and Amy, it’s impossible not to see their heart for worship and their passion for reaching the lost," said Eskelin. “I look forward to seeing what God is going to do with Love Displayed.”
“We are so excited about this project. ‘Walk On Water’ was written when reflecting back on years of chaos in our lives. Through triumph, failure, loss of family, loss of friends and everything else the world has thrown at us over the past few years, we always remember to keep our eyes on Him,” explained Love Displayed.
The Huffmans add, “Our favorite line in the single is the bridge, ‘eve in the crashing waves, even when I’m so afraid, I always hear you say, don’t look down.’ It’s a timeless truth! The fact that this song debuted on a Billboard chart and is getting several thousand views a day is so encouraging. We love seeing how the Lord is putting this song in front of people and we pray it uplifts and anchors people in a mighty way.”
Fans will get a chance to hear Love Displayed’s music live when they join Adam Cappa and Tyrus Morgan on the "Hope Restored Tour" that will launch this fall and run through spring 2017.
